After the assessment is complete, a feedback session is scheduled. During this appointment, the neuropsychologist will review the client’s strengths and weaknesses, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. A client may be referred to other medical specialists for follow up of suspected problems and/or treatment. A report is sent directly to parents or guardians, who decide with whom they will share this information.
Reports contain detailed textual descriptions of the client’s test taking style and performance. Tables of pertinent data from each test are included in a score appendix. The neuropsychological report is a comprehensive review of the client’s current functioning. CNS staff strive to provide succinct, relevant reports that serve as a tool to guide parents, teachers, and treating physicians/clinicians in helping the client achieve his/her potential.
