Children's Neuropsychological Services


Clients are referred for neuropsychological evaluations for a variety of reasons including:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Communication Disorders (e.g., expressive and receptive language disorders)
  • Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders
  • Giftedness
  • Intellectual Disabilities (e.g. global developmental delay)
  • Medical disorders directly or indirectly affecting the brain (e.g., non-CNS tumors, endocrine disorders, neurological disorders)
  • Mood Disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders)
  • Motor Disorders (e.g., developmental coordination disorders, tic disorder)
  • Neurological Disorders (e.g., epilepsy, migraines)
  • Organic Brain Pathologies (e.g., brain tumors, hydrocephalus, AVMs)
  • Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders
  • Specific Learning Disorders (e.g., reading, mathematics, writing)
  • Trauma and Stress Related Disorders (e.g., adjustment disorders, PTSD)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (e.g., accidents, birth trauma)
