Children’s Neuropsychological Services (CNS) staff strive to accommodate client schedules. Your initial appointment will be set by the treating clinician. Reminder notices and appointment changes will be handled by an administrative assistant who can be reached at 312.845.5437 or by Email.
Cancellation Policy and No-Show Agreement
CNS staff look forward to working with you, appreciate your trust in us, and take our role in your health care very seriously. Your doctor will be in the office on time and ready to meet with you at the scheduled date and time, and we ask that you do the same. Please realize that we allocate at least one entire working day to your assessment appointments and one half clinic day to your feedback session. Therefore, we cannot, will not, and do not schedule any other patients for your doctor (and the support staff who work with your doctor) on that day. If you do not show up for your appointment and do not contact us to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment day, we are not able to re-fill that appointment slot. This results in wasted valuable clinical time that could be offered to other clients requiring our services, and in lost revenues for CNS.
If a situation arises that necessitates the canceling or postponement of your visit, you MUST call 312.845.5437 or email at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Appointments not cancelled are charged to the patient - not the insurance company. No-show fees of $500 (full assessment days) and $250 (feedback sessions) are charged to partially compensate for lost clinical time and revenue.
